Learn the beautiful art of brush marker lettering! In this workshop you'll learn beginner basics that will set you on your way to lettering anything from art pieces to greeting cards and more.
No prior experience is required! Led by instructor Jessica Griscti (@jessmakestype) this workshop will cover:
- Lettering tools and how to use them
- Basic strokes of modern brush lettering
- How to compose both upper case and lower case letters
- How to connect letters to form words and phrases
- Tips and tricks for perfecting your lettering practice

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Jessica Griscti (the c is silent) is a designer/calligrapher who is equally preoccupied by typography, Yves Klein Blue accessories, and the perfect chocolate-chip cookie. Jess is an alumna of Parsons School of Design where she majored in communication design, writing, and How to Take the Best Instagram Picture of her cat, who is named after a typeface.
