We are so excited to announce we will be participating in the Downtown Alliance Re:Store program!

 

We are honored to have been selected to open up shop in vibrant Lower Manhattan! We will be open from June to September, with our grand opening on Saturday June 6th!

 

Here's a quick run through with all your biggest questions

Who:

Your fave craft shop, just in a new location for the summer! Don’t worry, we are still open in Greenpoint 7 days a week!

What:

Expect to see a lot of our best selling items from our Greenpoint shop as well as some new exciting goodies! Since we have a lot more space in our Manhattan location, we are able to stock EVERY color of DMC embroidery floss, new brands of yarn, and even more fun trinkets and gifts from small brands we have been dying to order from, but haven’t been able to spare the shelf space (until now!)

You will also be able to sign up for some of our most popular workshops, but we are super excited to be hosting even more brand new drop-in options! Think handmade NYC souvenirs: bag charms, snow globes, painted postcards, DIY jewelry, and more! These are crafts we have always wanted to try with you folks but haven’t had the time or space to squeeze them onto the calendar, but this is our spot to try out alllll the new things! 

Where:

We are located at 225 Broadway, right over the Brooklyn Bridge! Our shop is across the street from City Hall Park and City Hall itself. We are easily accessible by the A C E 4 5 J Z, and N R W trains. Soooo many options! We are also just a short walk away from our other Re:Store friends!

When:

Our summer pop-up will be open from June through August! we can’t wait to welcome you to our grand opening on Saturday June 6th! Expect lots of fun activities, specials, and giveaways! More details coming soon.

Why:

We are so grateful to have been selected for the Downtown Alliance Re: Store program from a pool of hundreds of applicants. They are providing us with the space, lots of marketing, and a sizable grant to get us started! This is an incredible opportunity to experiment as much as possible with new crafts, new merch, new technology, new staff, a new customer base, and more!

Most importantly, will Frank be there??

We hope so! We will have to play it by ear depending on how crowded the space is, but he told us he definitely wants to experience our pop-up as much as possible!

Drop-in crafts and workshops! 

We will be hosting the sit down workshops you have come to expect from Brooklyn Craft Company but we are excited to offer a more casual drop-in option for a spur of the moment crafty adventure! Check back soon for more dates and details!

But that's not all! 

The Downtown Alliance has organized a “RE:Store Crawl” to help you experience all six pop-ups this summer. The crawl invites customers to attend an event, workshop or make a qualifying purchase at four of six pop-ups and be entered to win a grand prize. 

Instructions to participate:

1. Pick up a RE:Store crawl palm card at any of the six Re: Store pop-up shops.

2. When a customer makes a qualifying purchase or attends an event or workshop, they earn a stamp!

3. Once customers have been to four of six pop-ups, they can fill in their name and email to be entered to win a grand prize. 

4. Turn in the completed card at any of the six pop-up shops.

5. Downtown Alliance staff will collect the completed cards from businesses and select a prize winner and notify them directly.
