COVID-19 Update (5/10/21):

In-person workshops are back! After a year of going fully virtual, we are excited to welcome you back to our shop for in-person crafty fun. If you are interested in joining us for an in-person workshop, please read our policy here before registering.

We will be slowly easing back into our full workshop calendar and will be expanding our offerings throughout summer. 

We plan to continue hosting our virtual workshops indefinitely, as long as y'all still want them! So, if you're not local to NYC, or if you're not quite ready for in-person learning, we've got you. :)

Students registered for in-person workshops in spring 2020 have received a credit to use toward a future workshop (either virtual or in-person).  If you'd prefer to donate your registration fee rather than receive a credit, please email hello@brooklyncraftcompany.com <3

 

 

 

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations. 

If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop.*** To cancel and request a credit, email us at hello@brooklyncraftcompany.com. Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to in-store merchandise purchases. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice. ***Credits cannot be given for any registrations for workshops hosted by visiting/ out of town instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for understanding!***

 

In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).

 

About Our Policy
Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.  

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

RETURN POLICY
Unused and unopened merchandise purchased in our store can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, if accompanied by the original receipt.

Yarn that has been wound into balls, and fabric or other merchandise that is sold after being cut, cannot be returned. Any other merchandise that has been altered in any way, gift cards, and other downloadable products cannot be returned. Custom, bulk, photo/film shoot purchases, and wholesale orders are non-refundable or exchangeable. 

If you would like to return and items you have purchased online, please email us at hello@brooklyncraftcompany.com within 14 days of your original purchase to initiate the process. We are unable to process returns after 14 days. Please note the exclusions listed above. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
