Cancellation & Return Policy

 ADULT WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations. 

If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit for your registration amount to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop.*** To cancel and request a credit, you must email us at info@brooklyncraftcompany.com. Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to merchandise purchases. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice. ***Credits cannot be given for any registrations for workshops hosted by visiting/ out of town instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for understanding!***

 

In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, increases in local Covid cases, changes to local Covid guidance, positive Covid cases on our staff, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual). 

 

About Our Policy
Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.  

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

KIDS PROGRAMMING CANCELLATION POLICY

No refunds will be given on kids course registrations. In the event you choose to un-enroll your child from the program and we are notified more than 30 days before the first class date, we will issue a credit that can be used toward a future course. Within 30 days of the first class date, we cannot offer refunds, credits or requests to reschedule.

Please note, no make-up classes will be offered. If your child misses a week for any reason, the instructor will do her best to catch your child up in the next week's class.

RETURN POLICY
Unused and unopened merchandise purchased in our store can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, if accompanied by the original receipt.

Yarn that has been wound into balls, and fabric or other merchandise that is sold after being cut, cannot be returned. Any other merchandise that has been altered in any way, gift cards, and other downloadable products cannot be returned. Discounted items are final sale. Custom, bulk, photo/film shoot purchases, and wholesale orders are non-refundable or exchangeable. 

If you would like to return and items you have purchased online, please email us at hello@brooklyncraftcompany.com within 14 days of your original purchase to initiate the process. We are unable to process returns after 14 days. Please note the exclusions listed above. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Pickup orders are subject to our standard 14-day return policy. We do not automatically cancel orders that are not picked up within that window. If you would like to cancel your pickup order, please call or email within 14 days of purchase.
