Introducing our 2025 Brooklyn Yarn Crawl pattern: the Picnic Plaid Kerchief!

Written for our exclusive Vintage Picnic Yarn, this designed can be stitched up in any sport weight yarn.

This kerchief is created in two parts. First, you will crochet a striped mesh base. Next, you will fill in the mesh with simple weaving techniques to create the plaid pattern. This is one of those “easier than it looks” patterns and is great for building upon beginner crochet skills! Wear it as triangle scarf, head scarf, bandana, girl scout-style kerchief... the options are endless!

New to crochet? Keep an eye on our newsletter & Instagram. Tutorial videos are coming in late May 2025!
