Learn to sew a warm and stylish sweater in this two-part workshop! Great for advanced beginners or sewers of any level who are eager to try their hand at sewing knits!

In this two-evening workshop, you'll make a Sew House Seven Toaster Sweater #1, a semi-cropped sweatshirt/sweater. It features raglan sleeves, a wide waistband, loose turtleneck, long cuffs, and falls between the high and low hip. Super cozy and cute!

You'll learn how to:

  • Measure the body accurately to create a perfect fit
  • Work from a commercial pattern, including size selection, deciphering instructions, cutting from paper pattern pieces, and more
  • Sew thicker stretchy knit fabrics
  • Sew a turtleneck, cuffs and a waistband
  • Please note-- we will only be covering Toaster Sweater #1 in this workshop

This is a two-part workshop taking place on the following dates:

    Thursday 2/24 and Thursday 3/3 at 6:30pm-9:30pm

Skill requirements:  Please note this is not a learn-to-sew class. This workshop is suitable for advanced beginners who are comfortable using a sewing machine and have completed a few projects in the recent past.
