Get ready for your newest craft addiction! Learn beginner punch needle techniques as you design and make your own mini wall hangings in this fun and relaxing 2-hour workshop. Total newbies welcome!

In this class you'll learn:

  • How to thread and punch with an Oxford Punch Needle
  • How to select the right yarn for your project
  • How to work with monks cloth
  • How to create different textures
  • How to apply traditional techniques to create a modern wall hanging

You'll leave with a small wall hanging (approximately 5") and the know-how to create more pieces on your own! The skills learned can also be used to make pillows, rugs, and more!

Note: If you would like to bring a little of your own yarn, especially if you have colors you know you want to use in your piece, go for it! Worsted and bulky yarns work best for this project. We will provide enough yarn for everyone, but if you have anything special you want to incorporate, feel free to bring it along! You're also welcome to browse our in-store yarn selection; students will receive a 10% discount for any purchases made the day of class.
