Got a hole in your favorite pair of jeans? It's all good... you can patch them up! Join us to learn how to patch up your denim + apply Sashiko techniques, a type of Japanese hand sewing used for visible mending, decorative stitching, and more!
This class will cover:
- How to create geometric mending stitch patterns
- What types of fabric, thread, needles and other tools are required
- How to patch holes in clothing and other textiles
Students may bring in clothing they'd like to mend or opt to practice the techniques on fabric scraps provided.

LOCATION: We have two locations in Greenpoint, Brooklyn: The BCC Shop at 165 Greenpoint Ave, and The BCC Annex 37 Greenpoint Ave #105. Your workshop location will be indicated when selecting your workshop date above. Your booking confirmation email and any subsequent reminder emails will also include the address, with a link to the location on Google Maps.
COST: $65, includes 2.5 hours of instructions and use of all materials needed, including needles, specialty thread, rulers, water soluble pencils, and more.
