Learn the beautiful art of modern calligraphy hand lettering -- and be on your way to lettering everything from envelopes to art pieces!
In this beginner-level class, your instructor Margaret Fu of Wispy Letters will begin by walking you through the basics of modern calligraphy while guiding you as you practice writing using worksheets.She'll help as you begin developing your own personal lettering style, and finally, you'll create your own hand-lettered art piece, or greeting cards.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn the basic elements of modern calligraphy and practice writing the alphabet
- Begin to develop your own lettering style
- Practice writing words and phrases
- Make finished a piece such as an art print or gift tags
