Get ready for your newest craft addiction! Learn beginner punch needle techniques as you design and make your own mini mirror in this fun and relaxing 1.5-hour workshop. Total newbies welcome!
In this class you'll learn:
- How to thread and punch a punch needle tool
- How to select the right yarn for your project
- How to work with monks cloth
- How to apply your punch needle design to a mini mirror with a felt backing and hanging loop
You'll leave with a small punch needled mirror and the know-how to create more pieces on your own! The skills learned can also be used to make pillows, rugs, and more!

Class Length: 1.5 hours
Location: We have two locations in Greenpoint, Brooklyn: The BCC Shop at 165 Greenpoint Ave, and The BCC Annex 37 Greenpoint Ave #105. June - September 2026 we also have a pop-up space at 225 Broadway in Lower Manhattan! Your workshop location will be indicated when selecting your workshop date above. Your booking confirmation email and any subsequent reminder emails will also include the address, with a link to the location on Google Maps.
Cost: $45 includes 1.5 hours of instructions + everything you need to complete a 3" mini mirror with felt backing. A 10% discount will be honored at our shop on the day of class for students.

Meet Your Instructor
Kat Lee (she/her) is a freelance illustrator with a love of mixed media, and is currently combining her love of fiber arts and blockprinting. Her practice revolves around art that explores strong storytelling and themes of advocacy, folktales, and mythology.
