Learn basic hand-sewing skills and make your own mini quilt! This 3-hour workshop will cover all the basics of piecing, assembling, hand-quilting, and finishing a very small quilt.
You'll learn:
- How to sew pieces of fabric together with a basic running stitch
- How to assemble a "quilt sandwich" and baste or prep it for quilting
- How to hand quilt using the running stitch
- How to attach the quilt binding by hand, to finish the edges of your quilt
This is a beginner class; no prior sewing experience required!

Cost: $65, includes three hours of instruction and a selection of shared fabric scraps. Does not include some other materials--see "Materials" tab for full list. All required materials will be available for purchase on our site or at our shop at a 10% discount. A discount code will be emailed within 24 hours of registering.

Meet Your Instructor
Lili Tobias spends most of her time knitting, listening to music, or doing both at the same time. She also enjoys collecting yarn and fabric that may or may not be turned into something cool eventually.
