Paint with wool! In just 1.5 hours you can learn the craft of flat needle felting, and create a custom pizza slice, complete with your favorite toppings.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- The basics of flat needle felting, including an overview of tools, supplies and techniques
- How to form raw wool fibers into intricate shapes
- How to layer color and texture to create dimension in your work
- How to finish and frame your felted piece in an embroidery hoop

Location: We have two locations in Greenpoint, Brooklyn: The BCC Shop at 165 Greenpoint Ave, and The BCC Annex 37 Greenpoint Ave #105. June - September 2026 we also have a pop-up space at 225 Broadway in Lower Manhattan! Your workshop location will be indicated when selecting your workshop date above. Your booking confirmation email and any subsequent reminder emails will also include the address, with a link to the location on Google Maps.
Cost: $55, includes all materials needed and use of tools during the workshop.

Jmar is an artist who is all about exploring the beauty, curiosity, and complexity of the world through an ever-widening variety of mediums. They love learning new crafts and are always eager to share those skills at their workshops with Brooklyn Craft Company. Jmar brings their extensive background as a freelance artist and nearly a decade of experience as an educator and instructor to Brooklyn Craft's workshops.
