Who doesn't love a cute embroidered patch? In this workshop, you can learn to design and make your own patches, which you can then affix to your jean jacket, tote bag, or anything you like!
We will provide some cute, simple patterns to work from, or you can bring your own sketch or image that you'd like to use! (Images should be no larger than 2", and simple line drawings work best.)
In this workshop you will:
- Learn how to transfer your image to fabric and embroider the surface of your patch
- How to line the back of the patch with felt
- How to stitch a border around the perimeter of the patch to finish it
- Tons of tips and tricks for successful patch making!
You’ll leave with a super-cute, made-by-you patch! (Note: depending on the complexity of the design you choose, you may not completely finish during class, but you'll be well on your way.)
All materials needed to make one patch will be provided and are included in class cost.
