Private listing: After School Fiber Art Classes Starting 1/29/20
Calling all crafty kiddos! Come get creative with us and learn a variety of fiber arts in this ten-week course in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio.
We'll explore a range of fiber, textile and needlework crafts, including:
- punch needle
- latch hook
In this ten-week after-school course, children will learn a sampling of fiber and textile hand crafts. They'll gain confidence and build fine motor skills that will last a lifetime! Students will leave this course with the skills to tackle more textile projects as they develop valuable exposure to creativity, design, and more.
This is a ten-week course on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30pm, January 29th through April 15th 2020. (There will be no class on February 19 and March 4.) After-school pick-up from PS110 is included.
This class is open to complete beginners age 7-12. No previous experience is required.
Date & Time: Ten (10) Wednesdays 3:15pm - 4:30pm, January 29 through April 15. (There will be no class on February 19 and March 4.)
Location: Brooklyn Craft Company, 165 Greenpoint Avenue (here’s where we’re located)
Cost: $675 includes 10 weeks of class, instruction, materials to make finished projects, and use of necessary tools during class.
School Pick-Up: We are offering school pick-up from PS110, which is included in the $675 fee.
No refunds will be given on kids' class registrations. In the event you choose to un-enroll your child from the program and we are notified more than 30 days before the first class date, we will issue a credit that can be used toward a future course. Within 30 days of the first class date, we cannot offer refunds, credits or requests to reschedule.
Please note, no make-up classes will be offered. If your child misses a week for any reason, the instructor will do her best to catch your child up in the next week's class.
Meet Your Instructor
Kat Petrillo is an artist and educator residing in Long Island City. Her studio practice focuses on fiber based crafts including crochet, knitting, punch needle rug hooking, and embroidery. You can find her and her beloved cat, Wallace, on Instagram @TheStitchingPoint
