For total beginners--if you've been wanting to learn to sew or you haven't touched a machine in years, this is the class for you! In just one session we'll walk you through the basics; you'll leave class with a finished elastic-waisted skirt. Here's what we'll cover:
- Basic intro to a sewing machine, including how to sew a straight seam
- How to measure the body properly for garment fitting
- How to cut fabric accurately
- Pinning and sewing seams
- Making an elastic waistband and hem

Location: Will be indicated on the calendar when you select your workshop date! We have two locations: The BCC Shop at 165 Greenpoint Ave and The BCC Annex 37 Greenpoint Ave #105.
Cost: $95.00, includes 3 hours of instruction, and use of our BERNINA sewing machines. Does NOT include fabric or other materials-- All required materials will be available for purchase during class at a 10% discount. You will receive an email with materials list + discount code within 24 hours of registering.
