If you're a confident beginner knitter looking to step beyond scarves, or you just want to expand your "winter hobby" into more seasons, this workshop is for you! Kick your beginner knitting skills up a notch and learn to knit a bow headband while also learning increases and decreases! 

 

You will learn:

  • Yarn & needle information
  • How to follow a knitting pattern
  • How to increase and decrease stitches
  • How to purl
  • How to knit the seed stitch

You must have basic knitting skills to attend this workshop, including: casting on and knitting. Our Knitting 101 workshop (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite to this class-- register here.

Cost: $55 includes 3 hours of instruction. Yarn and knitting needles can be purchased before class; a 10% discount will be honored for all students.

Meet Your Instructor

Leah Aasman is a multifaceted art-and-crafter, with a passion for punch needle, papercrafts, knitting, and watercolor. She lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with her husband, two cats, and a steadily growing plant collection. When she is not crafting, she is teaching voice lessons, playing board games, or eating snacks. Materials needed for class are available to be purchased at our shop in person or online as a local pick up order at a 10% student discount. Please note, within 24 hrs of registering for the workshop, you will receive the discount code for the materials needed.
