Learn to knit socks! If you've mastered knitting basics and are looking to tackle more complex projects, this workshop is for you!

In this three-part workshop, we'll work through the Shorty Sock by Summer Lee Design Co. (the Basic B version). You will learn how to:

  • Use the magic loop knitting technique
  • Make a heel flap and turn the heel
  • Pick up stitches
  • Shape with decreases
  • Knit the kitchner Stitch
  • Follow a sock pattern

Due to the slow nature of knitting, you likely will not finish the sock during class hours. However, we will cover all of the trickiest parts, and you'll be well-prepared to finish on your own!

This is three-part workshop taking place on the following dates:

Tuesday 2/6 at 6:30pm-8:30pm
Tuesday 2/13 at 6:30pm-7:30pm
Tuesday 2/20 at 6:30pm-8:30pm
**You will be assigned knitting homework to complete between sessions!**
