Customize your clothing and accessories with embroidery!
Plus BKLYN and Brooklyn Craft Company are joining forces for a night of community crafting in FiDi, the home of our summer pop-up shops!
In this workshop, you'll learn embroidery basics and stitch a small motif on a garment or accessory brought from home. Use one of our designs or create your own! Either way, this is a super fun and simple way to customize or upcycle a t-shirt, jeans, bandana, hat, or whatever you'd like!
Light to medium weight items work best, such as:
- Tees or button-down shirts (avoid delicate fabrics like silk)
- Denim
- Totes bags
- Soft hats like dad caps or buckets hats
Registration includes a $15 gift card to Plus BKLYN to be used in 2026!

Location: Brooklyn Craft Company's Summer in the City Pop Up - 225 Broadway, Lower Manhattan 10007
Cost: $25 includes instruction, supplies & tools, and a $15 gift card to Plus BKLYN. Bring your own garment or accessory to stitch on! Zipper pouches, hats, and tea towels will be available for purchase for folks who don't bring an item from home.
