Crafty Hour: T-Shirt Embroidery
This July and August, come join us on Fridays for our weekly Crafty Hours! What's a Crafty Hour? It's a casual, 1-2 hour workshop offered at a deeply discounted rate. What better way to kick off your summer weekends than with some crafty fun? So grab a friend, bring a refreshment, and let's hang out!
Our August 2nd Crafty Hour project will be T-SHIRT EMBROIDERY!
In this class, you'll learn how to stitch your design of choice on your favorite tee using simple embroidery skills. Choose from some simple embroidery patterns we'll have on hand, or create your own design!
This class will cover:
- Designing and planning your embroidery
- How to transfer your design to fabric
- What embroidery floss, needles and other tools are required
- Tips and tricks for success!
Basic embroidery experience is helpful, but not certainly not required! Beginners welcome :)
Students must bring their own t-shirt or other article of clothing to embroider. Embroidery patterns will be available for use, or students may bring their own design. Please note-- customized designs should be simple line work. If you're aiming to complete your project by the end of class, please keep the design small!
