Baby & Kid Leggings
Learn to sew baby & kid-sized leggings, the perfect pint-sized garment project! This class includes a sew-as-they-grow pattern, which you can use to make these leggings again and again, from sizes newborn-5T, as your little one grows. Learn to sew these leggings now, and make them for years!
In this skill-building workshop, you'll craft adorable little leggings from the stretchy knit fabric of your choice, sized for newborn babies though kids 5T. You'll leave class with a finished pair of leggings and the skills and confidence to tackle more stretchy sewing on your own. You'll take home a pair of leggings and your own flexible pattern that you can use again and again as your baby grows-- it's like having multiple patterns in one!
In this class, you'll learn how to:
- Work with stretchy knit fabrics
- Work from a sewing pattern, including size selection, cutting from pattern pieces, and more
- Understand stretchy sewing basics such as proper fabric prep, pinning, cutting, ironing, thread and needle choice, machine settings, and trouble shooting
- Cut fabric and assemble a garment the right way
